The Audio Production Process

I spend time reviewing client information, then begin the research and brainstorming stage. I take into account instrumentation, influences, and budget.

Based on existing work or ideas, create a synth-based song to work out song structure, instrumentation needed, etc.

This is where charts are made, players are found, and practice and recording schedules are decided.

Record & Mix
After the music is written, and the songs have been practiced, we head into the studio and begin to record the basics, overdubs, auxiliary and vocals. Once all recordings are completed, I will begin the mix process, taking our conversations and your sound preferences into consideration.

The mix presentation is supplied as an mp3 or .WAV file. Now it’s up to you to consider the mix and prepare any feedback.

Finishing Touches
Following client review, I’ll either finalize the project, or make any revisions agreed upon. My main aim is to create a mix that successfully gets your sound across. There’s always flexibility in my process.

Files may be supplied via your external hard drive, CD, email, and/or made available for download. I’m happy to cater to specific file requests.

Customer Service
What I offer doesn’t end once the final installment is paid. Should any project-related questions crop-up, I’m on hand to answer them, or to offer my opinion on the final product.
